1) What is Platinum VIP?
Platinum VIP is the highest level of membership that the resort offers. We have paid the ownership fees for you to enjoy this amazing resort as our guests. This allows you to take advantage of all of the VIP amenities that the resort offers.
2) If I book the villa and only have 2 people traveling, will I have to share the villa?
No, the villa is exclusively yours for the week. There is no charge for under occupancy.
3) Is the Rental Fee listed per week or per person?
The rental fee is per week and not per person.
4) What is included in the All-Inclusive?
All of your meals and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). All restaurants on the resort as well as beach and poolside bars. This all-inclusive fee is payable when you arrive at the resort.
5) Are the VIP extra amenities available to all accommodations?
Yes, regardless of which accommodation you stay in, you will receive a gold VIP wristband on arrival at the resort, which entitles you to full use of all the VIP bars and Gourmet restaurant and all other privileges that all members receive. You and your party will be treated as members for the duration of your stay.
6) What airport do I fly into?
Puerto Plata (POP) airport is the closest, only about ½ an hour away. You may also fly into Santiago (STI) but the travel time is about 1 ½ hours to the resort.
7) How do I get to the resort?
As guests of a Lifestyle member you will have free return airport transfers if you fly to Puerto Plata airport.
8) What do I do on arrival at the airport?
On arrival at the airport you will be required to fill a customs and immigration form and have your passport ready for inspection. You will also be required to pay $10 per person arrival tax and obtain a tourist card. After passing through customs and immigration you will proceed to the luggage collection area. Once you have received your luggage, go outside the terminal building and look for your Lifestyle representative directly outside the door. He will be carrying a Name Card. You will then be taken directly to the resort.
9) Is the resort on the beach?
The resort is situated directly by the beach at Cofresi, near Puerto Plata. The hotel accommodation is closest to the beach with the residence suites and Crown villas situated a little further away but all are within walking distance.
10) Is there Internet access available?
VIP World and some villas have wireless Internet access available but this cannot be guaranteed. Internet access is available in the VIP reservation area at no charge.
11) Is there a refund policy?
There is no refund for no-shows or early departures. If you need to change your travel dates and you notify us at least 30 days in advance we may be able to reschedule your trip for you.
12) Are there any additional costs?
Other than the accommodation and all inclusive fees, the only other costs are flights, airport arrival/departure taxes and any phone calls made from your accommodation.
13) What is the catch?
There is no catch, hidden fees, or sales presentation to attend. We are an owner of this resort and you will be our guest for the most amazing vacation experience.
